This guide will show you how to retrieve an API key and how to authenticate it in our Swagger API reference in order to make a first call.
Sign up for an AIPARK studio account
Navigate to your “Account” section
Find the user icon in the upper right corner of the application and select “Account”.
Find your API key
Scroll down to the bottom of your account section to locate and copy your API key.
Note: Your account is restricted to 10,000 requests a month. If you need more, please contact us using firstname.lastname@example.org .
Authenticate for testing
To get started with our API, go to our API reference site. Find the “Authorize” button on the right side. Insert your API key and click “Authorize”. You are now all set to send request via Swagger to check out the AIPARK APIs.
Get Parking POIs close a position
To demonstrate how to work with the AIPARK API reference, let’s get the parking POIs around a certain position. Select the “/getParkingAreasForPosition” method for this and click “Try it out”.
You can either use the standard request or input your own data. Click on execute to send your request.
If everything goes well, you should see a response similar to the one below and yield a 200 response code. Congrats, this was your first “Hello World” with the AIPARK map API!
